Paras Metals

Paras Metals is tucked away in Vile Parle West. We are at 21 Bhagatsingh Road, room or office 701. It is a busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives here knows. You can always hear the noise of people on the street. We deal in metals, which sounds simple enough but there is always something going on. Space is a bit tight here, but we make use of every inch. You can hear the traffic from the window if you leave it open. We spend most of the day on the phone or looking at prices. We have been in Vile Parle for a long time. The building is older, but it has character and the elevator usually works. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some old mugs. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around. We know our neighbors in the building pretty well. Everyone is just trying to make a living. Dealing with metal means you get your hands a bit dirty sometimes, even in the office. It is a straightforward business. No one here uses big words or tries to impress anyone. We just buy and sell and make sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It’s a local operation, through and through.
