Paras Metallurgical Industries

Ghatkopar West is a noisy place, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time here at Paras Metallurgical Industries surrounded by stacks of metal and old tools. Our spot is at H O 3 and it’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever see, but it’s where we work every day. The morning starts with a hot tea from the stall around the corner, and then we get the machines going. You can hear the hum of the equipment from the street. Our walls are covered in grease and old calendars that nobody bothers to change. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, so most of the people nearby know us by name. Dealing with metallurgy isn't glamorous. It involves a lot of heat and heavy lifting, and at the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. There is just a small wooden table where we keep the records and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. When the monsoon hits, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things out on time. It’s a simple life here in Ghatkopar, just keeping the business running and making sure the work is solid before we head home at night. We don't mind the noise much.
