We are located at 30/8 Baroda Street, right in the middle of the Masjid and Kalewadi Main Road area near Nakate Nagar. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal all day long. Our shop deals mostly in steel bars and different types of metal sheets that people need for building things. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually covered in a bit of grease or rust by the end of the day. The office is just a tiny corner with a wooden table and a very old calculator that still works fine. We don’t have air conditioning, so we keep the big shutters open to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. Dealing with steel means a lot of loading and unloading, and the trucks often block the narrow lane for a few minutes while we work. People around here know us as the place that has the specific sizes they can't find at the bigger warehouses. We aren't a huge corporation despite the name, just a few of us making sure the orders are correct. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, so we have to spend Saturday afternoons counting everything again. It’s honest work and it keeps us moving. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny floors because the steel would just scratch them up anyway. We just stay here and do our business.
