Pact Winery Private Limited is located over at Malabar Hill. The address is 26D on the ground floor of the Banganga Hutment area, on Dr. Bhagvan Indrajit Road. It is an interesting part of Mumbai to be in, with a lot of history around the Banganga Tank. We deal with wine here. Being on the ground floor makes it a bit easier when we have to move stuff in and out. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of things stored, but we make it work. It is not a flashy vineyard like you see in movies; it is a working office in a busy neighborhood. The streets around here are narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We spend our time managing orders and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the dampness from the sea air gets to the paperwork, but that’s Malabar Hill for you. We are just a small group of people who know a bit about the wine business. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big signs. Most people walk right past us without noticing, and we are okay with that. Work starts early and usually goes on until the sun sets over the water nearby. It is a quiet existence for the most part, just handling the bottles and the books. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the business going and making sure everything is logged correctly.
