Our office is located at 33/208 on Dariyasthan Street. If you know the Masjid Bunder area, you know how incredibly crowded and busy these narrow streets can get. It is really the heart of the old trading district in the city. Paarth (India) Overseas is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. The building is quite old, and the street outside is always blocked with handcarts, trucks, and people moving heavy bags of goods. It’s a very traditional business environment. Our office is small and tucked away, with high ceilings and some old-fashioned fans that hum all day. We have piles of paperwork because the export and import business involves so many different documents and permits. Most of our day is spent talking to brokers on the phone and checking on where containers are. It gets very loud outside with all the shouting and the general market chaos. We have been here for many years, and we know most of the other traders on the street. It is definitely not a place for someone who wants a quiet, air-conditioned corporate office. It is a place for real, hands-on work. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the changing prices and shipping rates. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out. The smell of spices from the market is always around. We are just one small part of this massive trading network in Dariyasthan Street.
