Overseas Study Center is right here in Shafi Mension on L J Road in Mahim. If you know Mumbai 400016, you know it’s a busy place. We are right next to Taza Fast Food, so the smell of food is often floating into the office, which makes us hungry all the time. The building is an old one, Shafi Mension has been around for ages. We don't have a modern glass office or anything like that. It’s just a few rooms with old wooden doors and some desks we’ve had for years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of things to file, but we make it work. We aren't into big marketing or sounding like a huge company. It’s just us. People walk in from L J Road quite often just to ask what we do. We don't have a fancy lobby or someone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and see us working. Mahim is a great place to be because everything is so close. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The noise from the traffic on L J Road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a week. Overseas Study Center is just a small local operation. We don't pretend to be more than that. It’s a real office where real work happens every day, without any of that corporate polish.
