Our Lil Bit

Our shop is a bit of a hidden gem on Vittal Das Road in the Lohar Chawl area. The address says 0.333333333333333, which looks like a typo on paper, but we are definitely here near the Beach Queen spot in Andheri. It’s an interesting part of town to be in. We keep the shop stocked with all sorts of things, and the name Our Lil Bit kind of explains that we have a bit of everything. The space is small and can feel a bit cramped when we get a shipment in, but we like the cozy feel of it. It’s the kind of place where you might have to squeeze past a crate or two to see what’s on the back shelves. We spend our time reorganizing displays and chatting with the people who wander in from the street. Being near the beach means we get a mix of locals and people just passing through for the day. We don't have a big corporate manual on how to talk to people. We just say hello and help them find what they are looking for. The air can get a bit salty from the sea, and the humidity in Andheri is no joke, but the location is great for a small business like ours. We don't do much in the way of formal promotion. People just see the sign and walk in. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we enjoy the daily interactions.
