About Oscar Bag Industries – Fashion & Trends in Mumbai
Being right opposite the railway station in Sion means we hear the trains all day long. You get used to that rhythmic sound after a week or two of working here. We are in room 204 of the Rajgir Annexe. It’s a busy building, lots of different people coming in for different things. Punit Nagar has its own rhythm, especially near Akshar Chowk where the traffic gets thick. Our space is filled with bags, obviously. They are stacked up high, sometimes almost reaching the ceiling. It can get a bit dusty if we don't stay on top of it every single day. The Vice Regal part of the address sounds fancy but it’s just a regular old building with a lot of character and some narrow hallways. We spend most of our time here just sorting through orders and making sure things are where they should be. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is acting up, which happens once in a while. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we don’t need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just drink our tea, handle the bags, and watch the commuters rush by the window downstairs. It’s a good spot because everyone passes by Sion station eventually. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. Just a bunch of people making and moving bags in a busy part of the city.
