Our office is at Aero View Apartments in Sahar Village, right in Andheri East. Being so close to the airport is pretty much the point for us at Oppex Freight Systems Pvt. Ltd. We’re on the ground floor of the D-1 building. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially with all the airport traffic and people moving around Church Pakhdi Lane. We deal mostly with air cargo, so we’re always keeping an eye on flight times and warehouse space. The office isn't much to look at; it’s just a place where we get things done. We have desks, some computers, and a lot of folders. The noise from the planes is just part of the background here. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with airlines and ground handlers. It’s a fast-paced environment because air freight doesn't wait for anyone. If a shipment is late, we’re the ones who have to track it down. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just move freight. Some days are harder than others, especially when there’s a backlog at the terminal. But we’ve been in Sahar for a long time, so we know how to navigate the chaos. We’re just local people doing a job that keeps the supply chain moving. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know best. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to be corporate about it. It works for us.
