Nakshatra Import & Export Corporation

The office for Nakshatra Import & Export Corporation is at 105/c Flox Chambers, right in the Opera House area. This part of Mumbai is always buzzing, especially with the diamond trade and all the old businesses around here. We handle import and export duties from this small space. Flox Chambers is an older building, but it’s centrally located which helps a lot with getting around to different government offices and the port. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just some calendars and maps mostly. It’s a functional space where we spend most of our day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate image. We just do our job and try to make sure the paperwork is correct. There’s a lot of paper involved in this business, as anyone knows. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in files, but we have a system that works. We get our lunch from the local mess nearby and usually eat at our desks. It’s a busy environment and the streets outside are always jammed with cars and bikes. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on moving. It’s a good spot for what we do. We just keep it simple and focus on the daily tasks of moving goods in and out. It’s a long commute for some of us, but being in the heart of the city makes the business side of things much easier.
