Om Shanti Aluminium Industries

We’ve been set up at 1/6 Gabriel Gomes for a good while now, right across from Nutan Nagar. If you walk by, you’ll likely hear the sound of saws hitting metal before you even see the sign for Om Shanti Aluminium Industries. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. We don’t have a fancy waiting area or anyone sitting at a front desk in a suit. Most of the time, we’re out on the floor with our hands on the material. Aluminum can be tricky to work with if you don't know the tricks, but after years here, we’ve figured it out. The dust gets everywhere, and the floor is usually covered in little silver shavings that we sweep up at the end of the day. People from the neighborhood drop in quite a bit, sometimes just to ask for a small piece of trim or to see if we can fix a bent frame. We try to help out when we can. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, especially when the machines have been running all morning, but we’re used to it. We just keep the fans going and get the orders ready. There’s a certain way things have to be done so they fit right, so we spend a lot of time double-checking our measurements. We aren’t trying to change the world, just making sure the stuff we build is solid and delivered when we said it would be. That's just how it goes here. It is just us working away daily.
