Nocil Steels

Nocil Steels is based out of the Mulji Thakarsi Building, number 9, specifically at 52/52A on Nanubhai Desai Road, right near Sindhi Lane. It’s a crowded area with lots of narrow streets and people moving about. We work with steel, mostly doing the trading and supply side of things. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of old stone and paperwork. We aren't some massive corporation with a skyscraper. We have a modest office where we spend our days talking to suppliers and checking on orders. Sindhi Lane is always buzzing, and sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear on the phone. We’ve learned to talk loud. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just try to get the steel where it needs to go on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, and we have to go out and help guide them. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and we know all the other tenants. We don't use polished language because that's not how we talk to each other. We’re just a local steel business trying to do an honest day’s work. That's the story of Nocil Steels. We’ve been here through the monsoon rains and the heat, just doing our thing and keeping the records straight.
