Nirma Steel

We are located at 71 Bhandari Street in 1st Kumbharwada. Our shop is near the Round Temple, which is a big landmark here in the Grant Road area. The streets around here are very narrow and always filled with trucks and handcarts. We deal with steel, so you’ll see stacks of rods, pipes, and sheets all over the place. It’s a heavy job and our hands are usually stained with iron dust. The shop is quite old, and the walls show it, but it’s sturdy. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. It’s always noisy with the sound of metal clanging and people shouting orders over the traffic. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; it’s just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger. Most of our day is spent measuring and cutting steel for customers who walk in. The air smells like metal and old stone. It’s a tough environment, especially in the heat, but we’re used to it. We don’t use any high-tech systems for tracking things; we mostly rely on what we know and what’s written down. People come to us because we’ve been on this street forever. It’s just a plain, honest steel shop in a busy part of the city. We keep some heavy gloves on the counter because that metal gets really sharp when it is cut fresh.
