Nilesh Parekh

My place is in Kandivali West, specifically over at Shankar Park in building A-1104. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but that’s just how things go in these apartment complexes. Living and working out of A-1104 means I see a lot of the same faces every day in the hallways. Shankar Park has its own rhythm, with kids playing and people heading out to work in the mornings. Kandivali West is a crowded part of the city, but once you get inside the building, it quietens down a little bit. I’ve spent a lot of time getting this spot set up properly. It’s not a big office or anything, just a space where I handle my business as Nilesh Parekh. People sometimes get lost looking for the right wing in these large parks, but once you find A wing, the rest is easy enough. I’ve got my desk and my things arranged just the way I like them. The windows let in a decent amount of light during the afternoon. I don't really have a big sign or anything. It's just a regular door in a regular building. I spend most of my hours here, keeping track of things and making sure everything is in order. It's a simple life in Kandivali. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood, the distant traffic, and the neighbors talking. It's just home and work all rolled into one for me here.
