Our place is Room No 9 in Shakti Niwas, which is right on Station Road in Goregaon West. Because we are so close to the station, the street outside is always packed with people, rickshaws, and vendors. It’s a very lively part of the city, to say the least. The building itself is one of those older structures, and our office is just a simple room where we have our computers and all our files. There isn't a lot of extra space, so we have to stay organized with all the folders and paperwork. We spend most of our day here, just going through the usual tasks and talking to people who call or stop by. The noise from the station is something you eventually stop hearing after a few weeks. It’s a very down-to-earth environment, nothing like those big offices you see in the movies. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day and a small corner for making tea. Most of our work is just handling documents and making sure everything is filed correctly. It’s a humble spot, but it works for us. Getting to work is easy since the train station is right there, though the crowd can be a lot to handle sometimes. We just show up every morning and get through what needs to be done, one day at a time. It is a simple life in a busy corner of Goregaon and we just keep it moving.
