You can find us on the ground floor of Building No 58, C in Girgaon. We are pretty close to the Charni Road station, which makes it easy for people to reach us by train. Since we are on the ground floor, we have to deal with a lot of the street noise and people passing by all the time. Being in the steel business means there is often some heavy stuff moving in and out, so the ground floor location is actually pretty practical for us. The office is a bit old, like most of the buildings in this part of Mumbai, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of our time on the phone dealing with orders and checking on stock. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but that’s just how it is with metal and steel. There’s no air conditioning in the main area, just some old ceiling fans that keep the air moving. We’ve known most of the other shop owners on this street for years. It’s a tight-knit community in Girgaon. We don’t have a website with fancy photos of our products. Most of what we do is based on long-standing relationships with people who need steel for their projects. We just keep our ledger books ready and wait for the next delivery to arrive. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. No fuss, just regular work every single day.
