Nemi Impex

Nemi Impex is located in the Sundaresh building on 17th Road. We are in Siddharth-nagar, which is part of Goregaon West. It’s a 14th-floor setup, so we actually have a decent view of the rooftops around here. Not that we spend much time looking out the window. We are usually buried in invoices and shipping schedules. The office is small and a bit cramped with all the files we’ve kept over the years. We probably should go digital, but having the paper right there feels safer. There are three of us working here most days. We handle various goods, mostly importing things that local shops need. It’s a lot of coordination. You have to make sure the trucks show up when they say they will, which doesn't always happen. We spend a lot of time on the mobile, checking in with drivers. The building itself is okay, though the security guard at the gate is a bit strict about visitors. If you come to see us, you’ll have to sign the book. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just desks and a lot of samples in boxes. Sometimes we go downstairs for a snack from the vendor on the corner. It’s a pretty standard life for a small business in Goregaon. We work hard, deal with the daily headaches of logistics, and head home when the sun goes down. Nothing too complicated about it.
