Nelco Steel

Nelco Steel is located at 56/64/2 on Nanubhai Desai Road. We are on the first floor of the Minatai Welfare Society building. If you come by, you’ll notice that this is a very busy, industrial sort of street. There is always the sound of metal being moved or trucks loading up nearby. Our space on the first floor is where we handle the administrative side of the steel business and keep some of our smaller stock. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the building itself has been around for a long time. It feels sturdy, which is good when you’re dealing with steel. We spend our days talking about gauges, lengths, and weights. It’s a lot of manual recording and checking orders against what we have in the yard. We don't have a glossy catalog or a team of sales reps in suits. Usually, we are in our work clothes, dealing with the dust and the heavy lifting. The welfare society is a local hub, so there are always people moving about the hallways. It can get loud, but that’s just the nature of working with steel on a road like Nanubhai Desai. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the right people without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, just keeping the inventory moving and the logs updated.
