Neha Industries

Neha Industries is over here at Plot No- 237 in Udyog Bhavan. If you are on Sonawala Road in Goregaon East, you’ll see the building. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always noisy with machines running and people moving boxes. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a good bit of time. It’s not a very big factory, but we manage to get a lot done in the space we have. Most of the work involves making parts for other companies. We have a few machines that run most of the day. The floor stays pretty messy with scrap and oil, but we clean up every Saturday before heading home. My uncle started this place and now I’m here most days making sure things stay on track. We don’t really have a big sales team. Most of our work comes from long-time customers who have been buying from us since the beginning. Goregaon East has changed a lot, with new buildings going up everywhere, but Udyog Bhavan stays pretty much the same. We have lunch together in the small break area. It’s just simple home-cooked food. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right and keep the machines running. If someone needs a part made, they come by the office, we look at the drawings, and we see if we can do it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough for now.
