Navratna Metal Corporation

Navratna Metal Corporation is located right on the ground floor of Prembai Bhawan. Being at number 79 on Nanubhai Desai Road means we see a lot of people walking past every single day. It’s a lively spot, and since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for folks to just pop their heads in and ask a question. We handle a lot of different metal products, and they take up a good amount of space in the back. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear and tear over the years from heavy crates being moved around. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the trucks are unloading out front, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that; we just have a couple of guys who know their stuff and a small desk where we keep the ledger. Sometimes we have to move things around just to find a place to sit and have lunch. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with orders to really worry about that. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We just want to make sure the inventory is right and the customers get what they asked for. That’s pretty much the whole story of our daily life here in the bhawan.
