Navdeep Metals is located on the fifth floor of Moti Mansion. It’s room number 69, which is easy to remember. We are right in 5th Khetwadi Lane, not too far from Alankar Cinema. If you’ve ever walked through Khetwadi, you know how narrow the lanes can be and how much is going on there. Our office is a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we’ve been here a long time. We deal in various metal products, mostly acting as a link for people who need specific materials. It’s a small space, filled with stacks of papers and samples. We aren't trying to look bigger than we are. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and checking on transport. Khetwadi is a tight-knit community of traders, and we are glad to be part of it. We know the tea seller downstairs and the other guys in the building. It’s a very human way of doing business. Sometimes the noise from the street is quite loud, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales pitch. People just come to us because they know we are honest about what we have in stock. If we can't get something, we'll suggest someone else who might. That’s just how things work in this part of Mumbai. We stay busy and keep moving forward, trying to make sure every order gets handled properly without any unnecessary delays for the customers.
