National Steel Traders

National Steel Traders is on the fourth floor of the Shakuntala Society, at number 13. We are located in Santacruz West. Our office is in a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit different from the usual commercial centers. You have to take the lift up to the fourth floor to reach us. The space itself is quite simple. We have our desks, our phones, and the ledgers where we keep track of everything. We deal in steel, which is a heavy and serious business, but our office is a relatively quiet place where we handle the paperwork and take orders. We’ve been based here in Santacruz for a long time and we know the neighborhood very well. Sometimes the lift stops working for maintenance and we have to walk up, but we don’t really mind the exercise. We don't have any big signs or sales displays in the office. Most people who come to us already know what they need, so we just help them get it sorted. It’s a small team of us here, and most of us have been working together for years. We have our own way of doing things and we stick to our routine. It’s not a flashy business at all. We just focus on the orders and the logistics. Being in Shakuntala Society makes the work feel a bit more personal, like we’re part of the neighborhood. We just get on with our work day by day.
