National Foundry

National Foundry is located on Sonawala Cross Road No.2 in Goregaon (E). This part of Mumbai is always moving and changing, and our shop is right in the middle of all that. We specialize in metal casting, which is a tough and sweaty job for everyone involved. Our foundry has been here for years, through all the shifts and changes in the Goregaon area. The furnace is the heart of our operations, and it is almost always running hot. When you walk in, you’ll see workers handling heavy molds and pouring liquid metal into them. It’s a sight that never really gets old, even if it is very hard work. The building itself is older and has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for what we need. We don't have a fancy showroom because all our products are industrial parts that people use in other machines. There’s a lot of dust and soot around the floor, which is just part of the foundry life. We don't use big words to describe what we do here. We melt metal, we pour it, and we make parts. Sometimes the heat is unbearable during the summer months, but the work has to continue regardless of the temperature. People in the area know us by the sound of the metal being moved around the yard. We stay focused on the task at hand and try to get our orders out the gate on time. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living for the whole crew.
