You can find us over in Borivli West, specifically at the Yoganand Society near Vazira Naka. Mumbai is always moving fast and can be quite loud, but inside our space, things feel a bit different. We deal with all sorts of performing arts stuff every single day. Whether it is someone practicing a dance routine or a musician getting their instruments ready for a session, there is always something happening around the 8A 264 address. It is a local place, really. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time and the people around here know exactly where we are located. It is not a huge corporate setup, just a spot where the arts get some attention and space to grow. Sometimes the rooms are noisy with music and shouting, and other times it is just quiet preparation for a show. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look polished. The focus is just on the performances and making sure there is a place for people to do their thing. Getting here from the station can take a bit of time depending on the rickshaws, but it is a straightforward walk once you are on the right road. During the monsoon, the walk from Vazira Naka can be a bit of a mess with the puddles, but we still show up and do the work. The tea stall around the corner is where most of us head when we need a break.
