Narendra Steels

Narendra Steels is a small shop located at 42, Islampura Street. We are right at Shop No. 1, which is directly opposite the Masjid. It’s a very recognizable spot in the neighborhood. We’ve been here for many years, selling steel to whoever needs it. The street is usually full of people and the sound of the mosque nearby is a constant part of our day. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so there’s still room for people to walk in. We deal with all kinds of steel bars and pieces. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use any complicated systems; we mostly just write things down in our ledger and keep track of who owes what. We know most of our customers by name because they live or work nearby. We don't bother with big ads or anything like that. If someone needs steel, they know where to find us. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet, just watching the street and talking to the neighbors. When a customer comes, we get up and help them find what they need. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide the steel that folks need for their projects around here. It’s just us doing our thing.
