Nandeshwar Metal

Nandeshwar Metal is located at Shop No 2/A on Bhandari Street. We are right there at 1 Charni Road, very close to the Round Temple. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the devotees and the traffic. Our shop is small and full of different metal pieces and scraps. There is always a layer of dust on things because of the work we do and the street outside. I spend most of my day sitting on a small stool near the entrance, greeting people and weighing out materials. It gets quite noisy with the sounds of the temple bells and the constant honking from the road. We have been in this spot for years, and the walls are a bit stained from age, but it works for us. We handle all sorts of metal items, and the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day from handling the stock. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we just use a ledger and a pen to keep track of what goes out. It’s a simple life here in Charni Road. We just keep the shop open from morning until late evening, making sure we provide what people are looking for without any fuss.
