Namrata Travels

Namrata Travels is a small travel office located in Mahim. We are over in the B 8 section of the Chempa Zenthy Society, specifically in the Wayward Building. It’s not one of those big travel agencies you see in the malls. It’s just a local spot where we help people figure out their trips and tickets. Mahim is a busy area, but our society is a bit tucked away, so it isn't too crazy right outside our door. We’ve got a few desks and some maps on the wall, and that’s about it. People usually come in to ask about bus schedules or train bookings because they prefer talking to a person rather than a computer screen. We aren't about polished marketing or big promises. We just look at the schedules and tell people what’s available. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to have a long tea break. The Wayward Building is just a regular residential and commercial mix, so it feels very much like a neighborhood business. We’ve been helping the local families with their travel plans for a while now. It’s a simple job but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the tickets are right and the travelers are on their way without any trouble.
