N U Matai

N U Matai is located over in the Laxmi Industrial Estate area of Andheri. We are in the Blue Mountains Tower, which is part of a cooperative housing society near Lokhandwala. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from around here. The building is tall and there are always people coming and going from the different offices and flats. Our space is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few cupboards for files, and some chairs for when people visit. It’s not a fancy office with a view or anything, just a place where we do our daily work. Most of the day is spent handling paperwork or talking to people on the phone. The area outside is always congested with cars and delivery bikes, especially near the 16th Cross road. We’ve been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. There is a small tea shop downstairs where we usually go for a break. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It is just a small group of us trying to stay organized and get through the list of things we need to do. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we have to use the stairs, which is a good workout I guess. We just focus on the daily tasks.
