Intralegal Advocates Consultants

We are located on the first floor of the Lalani Building, in office number two. It’s a fairly old building, so you’ll notice the stairs have that worn-down look from years of people walking up and down. Inside, we’ve got shelves filled with law books and thick files that seem to grow every week. Being advocates and consultants means we spend a lot of time reading through documents and writing things out. It’s not like what you see on TV; it’s mostly just quiet desk work and a lot of phone calls. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the air moving. We’ve got a couple of wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for long hours. Sometimes the street noise from outside gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a receptionist in a suit, usually just one of us pops their head out when someone knocks. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but there’s always a stack somewhere that needs sorting. It’s just how it is when you’re dealing with legal matters. We take our tea breaks seriously around mid-afternoon. It gives us a chance to step away from the fine print for a minute. The lighting is a bit yellow, but it helps when you’re looking at old papers all day. We just stay focused on the work at hand and try to keep things moving. There’s an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly too.
