Hasmukh V Shah & Co

Started the firm years ago on Delisle Road. We sit in the office near Sahajeevan Co Op Bank. It’s a busy spot in Bara Chawls. Most days it’s just us handling files and talking to people who walk in with their tax papers. It gets a bit crowded with all the folders on the desks. We’ve been here a long time, so everyone knows where to find us. Usually, someone is making tea while we look over the numbers. It isn't anything fancy, just a plain office with old chairs and a lot of calculators. We don't spend much on decorating. People come here because they know Hasmukh V Shah & Co and they know the work gets finished. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after twenty years. If the phone rings and we don't pick up right away, we are probably just busy with a client or out at the bank. We handle whatever paperwork comes our way. The bank downstairs makes it easy for us to get things sorted. It’s a small team, maybe just two or three of us some days. We don't have a big website or anything. Just this office in the chawl. If you need us, you just come by the bank and walk up. That is how we have always done things here. It works fine for us and our neighbors. We just keep the books straight for everyone.
