You can find us over in Girgaon at the Gaiwadi area, tucked away near R S Kedari Road. It’s right off Mahatma Gandhi Road, which is basically the heart of the action around here. Finding the entrance can be a little tricky if you aren't looking for it because the lane is quite narrow and usually blocked by a couple of handcarts or a parked scooter. The building isn't much to look at, just an old structure that has been part of this neighborhood for decades. Inside, the air usually smells a bit like metal because of the steel we handle every day. It’s a noisy business, with the sound of loading and unloading happening right outside the door. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a heavy wooden desk covered in invoices and delivery notes. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for years, and the neighbors all know us by name. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months, and the small window doesn't do much, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes down the alley. It’s a practical workspace for people who aren't afraid of a bit of grease and hard work. We just show up, talk to the regulars who need supplies, and try to keep everything organized in a place that’s constantly moving.
