Mutharamman Packers & Movers

Mutharamman Packers & Movers is based out of Dharavi at Kher Wadi. We are located at number 11 in the Voc Tower, which stands out right opposite the Kamraj area. If you know Dharavi, you know it is a place that never sleeps and there is always something moving. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of shouting and getting the trucks lined up before the traffic gets too bad around the tower. We have piles of packing material and crates stacked up in our space. Moving things in this part of town is a challenge because of the crowds, but we have been doing it so long that we know all the shortcuts. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms and fancy trucks. We are just a group of people who know how to pack a house or an office so that everything stays in one piece. Most of our days are spent sweating over heavy crates or trying to figure out how to get a sofa through a narrow doorway. We have seen a lot of families move in and out of the Voc Tower area over the years. It is a busy, noisy, and honest way to make a living. We don't do much besides move stuff and make sure the tape holds. It is just a local Dharavi business doing the heavy lifting for whoever needs it.
