Mustufa Fabricating & Pressing Works

We are located at number 230 on the Hosur Main Road, right near the Masjid in the 2nd Phase. It’s a noisy area with all the buses and trucks going past all the time. Our shop is full of pressing machines that make a loud thudding sound every time they go down. We do a lot of metal pressing and fabrication work here. The floor is solid concrete, but it’s got plenty of dents in it. We have heaps of metal scraps in bins waiting to be moved out. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. Your hands are always dark from the oil and the metal dust. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes moving parts around or checking the press settings. The heat from the machines makes the shop pretty warm in the afternoons. We usually keep a radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the noise of the pressing. We’ve got an old wooden desk where we keep the invoices and some spare parts. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard on the metal roof that we can’t even talk to each other. We just keep working through it. It’s a busy place, and there is always another batch of parts that needs to be finished before the end of the day.
