Mushco Steel Corporation

Mushco Steel Corporation is located right on Charni Road, near Tilak Road. It is an area that has seen a lot of changes over the years, but we have stayed put. Dealing with steel is not a clean job. There is always dust and the smell of metal in the air. We keep a variety of stock here, mostly for local builders or people doing small repairs. It is a straightforward business. We buy steel, we store it, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their project. Sometimes we have to cut it down to size, which takes a bit of time and effort. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with ledgers and old invoices. We do not use much fancy software; the old ways of keeping track of things still work for us. Charni Road is a landmark on its own, so people do not usually have trouble finding us, though the traffic near the station can be a mess. My family worked in this trade, and I have been around it since I was a kid. It is about knowing the weight and the grade of the metal without looking at a chart every five minutes. We do not promise things we cannot do. If we have the stock, we tell you. If we do not, we tell you that too. It is just how we operate. No bells and whistles, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping the inventory straight.
