I’m Muneer Khan. If you’re in Govandi, you can find me at Plot No. 50, E Lane. I’m in Room Number 07, just behind the Elegant Motor Training School in Shivaji Nagar. It’s a busy area and the noise of the traffic and the horns never really stops. Mumbai-43 is where I’ve spent most of my time and it feels right. I don't have a big team or a fancy storefront with lights. It’s a modest room where I get my things done every day. You have to be tough to work around here because it’s a lot of hustle and everyone is in a hurry. I don’t believe in making things sound better than they are. I’m just a guy working a job. Some days the electricity goes out or the street is blocked by a truck, and you just have to adapt and keep going. I know most of the people on my lane. We talk while we’re getting tea from the stall or waiting for the mail to arrive. I don't have a website with pretty pictures. If someone wants to know about me, they usually just come by the room or ask a neighbor who has seen me around. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works for me and my life. I’ve been at this address for years and I don't see myself moving anywhere else. It’s home. I handle my own business and I try to be honest with everyone who walks through.
