Deepak Steel

Deepak Steel is down at Shop Number 3 on the ground floor. We are right near the A Wing of the building. It’s a straightforward shop where we deal with steel items and metal pieces. There isn't much to the place besides the racks of metal and the counter where we talk to people. We have been here for a good while, and the neighbors in the building know us as the guys who are always moving heavy stuff around. It can get a bit noisy when we are unloading a truck or cutting pieces to size for a specific job. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone in an office. It's just a few of us making sure the inventory is right and the orders go out. The ground floor location is very handy because steel is heavy and we don't want to carry it up any stairs. We see a lot of builders and local repairmen coming through during the week. Sometimes it gets a little messy with metal shavings on the floor, but we sweep up at the end of the day. It’s a simple business. We don't do much advertising; people just find us because we've been in Shop 3 for so long. If you walk past the A Wing, you will see us there. We are usually busy with some order or checking the latest delivery that arrived. It is a lot of lifting but we are used to it.
