Mukund Steel

Mukund Steel is tucked away in Shop No. 5 on the ground floor of Vyas Sadan. We are located at 119/123 Mahimtura Marg, right in the heart of 3rd Kumbharwada. It’s a very old part of the city and the lanes are narrow. You really have to know where you're going to find us. We deal with various steel products in a small space. It's crowded, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been in this neighborhood for decades. The shop is small, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the rods and plates. It’s a lot of shifting things around to get to the back. We don't have a lot of room for big machinery, so most of our work is about trading and small-scale cutting. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people moving goods. It’s a lively place, but it can be exhausting. We open early to beat the main rush of the day. Our customers are mostly local fabricators who need a few pieces of steel for a job nearby. We keep a ledger on the desk and handle everything personally. There are no fancy computers or digital displays here. We just talk to the people who walk in and give them a fair price. It's a traditional way of doing business that hasn't changed much since we started. We like being part of the history of Kumbharwada.
