Mukund Iron Steel Plant

We operate out of Prasad Niwas in Shanti Nager-2, which is down Nadivali Road in Dombivali East. It’s not a huge factory like the ones you see in the movies, but we handle a lot of iron and steel work here. The area is mostly residential and small industrial plots mixed together. You’ll hear the sound of metal being moved around if you walk by. We’ve been in Thane district for a long time. The workshop floor is always covered in scraps and dust, which is normal for this kind of work. We do a lot of local orders for builders and small contractors around the area. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting down Nadivali Road because it’s not that wide, so we have to coordinate the loading carefully. It’s a lot of physical labor. We have a small office space inside the building where we keep the records and talk to people who stop by. It’s not fancy at all. There’s a lot of grease and the smell of cut metal in the air. We keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch of rods or sheets. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Dombivali. We don't have a marketing team or anything. People just know us because we’ve been at this address for so many years and we just do the work we’re given.
