Mukand Limited

Our office is tucked away in Bajaj Bhawan over at Nariman Point. If you know that part of town, you know it gets really busy during the middle of the week. We’ve been around for a long time, and some of the desks here look like they’ve seen every year of it. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, mostly steel and industrial things, though you wouldn’t really know it just by looking at the building from the outside. Sometimes the commute down Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg is a real headache, especially when the weather isn't great, but we make it in anyway. We have another spot in Kurla too, so we are always moving back and forth. It’s not a fancy setup with modern art or anything. It is just a place where people show up, do their hours, and try to get the orders sorted out correctly. The tea guy comes around at eleven and four, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have a big corporate handbook. Most of us just know how things work because we’ve been sitting in the same spots for a decade. It can be loud when everyone is on the phone at once, but that is just how the day goes here. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just us doing the work from this corner of Mumbai.
