Mujahid Khan

My name is Mujahid Khan and I work out of a space in Dongri, right above the Ajmeri Hostel and JK Hostel. If you’ve ever been to Dongri, you know it’s a place that never sleeps. The streets are narrow and always full of people, bikes, and the smell of good food. My place is tucked away upstairs, which helps a bit with the noise, but you can still hear the city moving below. It’s a simple setup. I didn't want a big corporate office because that’s just not how I work. I prefer being in the thick of things. I’ve been here for a while, and most of the locals know where to find me if they need anything. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the building is old, but it has character. I handle all sorts of daily tasks from here. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the files and stuff, but I know where everything is. I don’t believe in having a fancy receptionist or expensive furniture. I just have what I need to get the job done. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights, especially when the area gets busy during festivals. I’m just trying to run my small business and keep things moving along. It’s not much, but it’s mine and I’m proud of what I’ve built here in Mumbai. It keeps me fed and connected to this neighborhood I call home.
