Mtlexs

Mtlexs is based on the ground floor of Chartered House. It’s right on Dr. C.H. Street, tucked away in Church Lane near Marine Lines. The building has that old Mumbai charm, very solid and stone-heavy. Being on the ground floor is a bit of a blessing when you’re carrying things in and out. The street outside is narrow, typical for the Marine Lines area. It gets busy during office hours with people rushing to the station. We’ve got the church nearby, so the bells are a regular part of our day. The office itself is practical. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials for the work we do. The walls are thick, so it stays relatively cool even when the weather gets humid outside. We often see the same people walking past our window every morning. It’s a tight-knit spot. Church Lane has its own pace. Sometimes it feels like time stopped a bit here compared to the rest of the city. We keep our doors open when the weather is nice. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and watch the traffic go by. It’s a good location for us because of the transport links. Everyone knows Chartered House if they work in this district. We’re just another office in a long line of businesses around here, doing our thing every day. Ground floors in this part of town are hard to come by.
