Our office is right in the thick of it at 63, Syed Mukri Street in Katha Bazar. Being so close to Masjid Station means there is never a quiet moment. The streets are always full of trucks, carts, and people moving goods around. It’s a very old-school commercial part of Mumbai. At M/S A J Shah & Co., we fit right into that environment. Our space is functional and basic. We have been handling chartered accountancy work here for years, surrounded by the smell of the market and the sound of the station nearby. The building is old, and the office is filled with the kind of furniture that’s built to last. We spend our days going through ledgers and tax documents. It’s a lot of manual checking and double-checking. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, and we have to wipe down the desks before we start. It isn't a place for someone looking for a polished corporate office. It’s a place for work. We have our tea brought in from the stall downstairs, and we just get on with whatever audit or filing is on the schedule for that day. The bustle of Katha Bazar is just part of our daily life. We know the local porters and the shopkeepers around us. It’s a community of people just trying to get their business done, and we are right there with them in the middle of the noise.
