Mrf Cort Ltd is based in the Shiv Shakti Industrial Estate, specifically at unit 101. We are in Ghatkopar West, right opposite Damodar Park. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the park. The industrial estate is a maze of different businesses, but we are right on the ground level which makes things easier for moving stuff in and out. There’s always a bit of a breeze coming from the park side, which is nice when the humidity gets high. Our work involves a lot of technical details related to our products. The office and the storage area are pretty much connected, so you can always hear what’s happening on the floor. We have a few desks for the admin stuff, but the real work happens in the back. The lighting isn't the best, and the floors are concrete, but it’s a solid place to work. We’ve seen Ghatkopar change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up all around us. The staff here mostly take the local trains to get in, so there’s a lot of talk about the commute every morning. We don't do much marketing or fancy presentations. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the product right and making sure the deliveries are on time. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward every single day.
