Monark Steels

Up on the second floor of Milan Chhaya, that’s where you will find Monark Steels. We are at number 9, right on Hfs Road in Jogeshwari East. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we are used to it by now. The building is older, and you can hear the street noise from the windows. Jogeshwari is a fast-paced place, and being on Hfs Road means there is never a dull moment outside. We have a small office here. It’s mostly just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. We handle things for Monark Steels from this spot every day. The fan hums in the corner and we keep the window open when it isn’t too dusty. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. Just a place where we sit and get the business handled. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs instead. Our neighbors in Milan Chhaya are mostly other small offices, so it’s a pretty busy atmosphere throughout the day. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys know us by name. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations. We just focus on the steel side of things and keeping our records straight. If the tea man comes by, we take a break, then get back to the phones and the ledgers.
