Modernn Steels

We've been here at Bapu Khote Street for quite some time now. Girgaon is a busy place, and our shop, Modernn Steels, is right in the middle of all that noise. Usually, the day starts early with loading and unloading. Steel is heavy, and moving it around these narrow lanes isn't always easy. We mostly handle different types of steel products that people around here need for their construction or repair work. It gets dusty in the shop, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with metal all day. My father used to say the work speaks for itself, so we don’t spend much time talking. People just come in, ask for what they need, and we try to find the right piece for them. Sometimes the stock is a bit disorganized because we get so many deliveries, but we know where everything is. If you walk down Bapu Khote Street, you’ll see us. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We have a couple of desks, a lot of heavy piles of metal, and a fan that barely works in the summer. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the measurements are what the customer asked for. It’s simple work, really. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers well. It’s a tight-knit community here in Girgaon 125, and we’re just glad to be a part of it.
