Modern Petrofils

Our office is over in Bhandup-East, specifically in A1/10 of the Saswati Apartment building. If you know the Mumbai suburbs, you know how busy it gets around here. The train station isn't too far, so you can always hear the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. Modern Petrofils is run out of this apartment space, which means it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have a kitchen where we make way too much tea during the day. The rooms are filled with desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a bit of a walk up if the elevator is being serviced, but we don't mind the exercise. The view from the window is just other buildings and some trees, but it’s nice to have some light coming in. We don't have a big corporate culture or fancy retreats. Most of our meetings happen while we’re sitting around the main table eating lunch together. We have to be careful with the noise because it’s a residential building, but we’ve never had any real complaints from the neighbors. It’s a simple setup for a small team that knows exactly what needs to be done. We stay focused on our tasks and try to beat the traffic home when the workday ends. It’s not the biggest company in the world, but we’re proud of the work we do from our little corner of Mumbai. It's home.
