I G Petrochemical Ltd,Taloja

Working at I G Petrochemical here in Taloja usually means dealing with a lot of heat and heavy machinery every single day. Our location over in the JNPT Township area of Navi Mumbai is quite a trek for some of us, but you get used to the commute after a while. Most of the guys here spend their shifts looking after the plants and making sure the chemical processes are running like they should. It’s not the kind of job where you sit around in a quiet office; there is always some noise or a truck moving somewhere nearby in Sector-3. The township itself is where a lot of the life happens outside of work hours. We see the same faces every morning at the gate, and honestly, it feels more like a small community than just a big company site. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when deliveries are late or when the weather gets really humid like it does in Navi Mumbai, but we just manage it as it comes. We’ve been at this B/57/3 spot for a good bit of time now. It’s practical work, nothing too flashy about it, just keeping the production going so we can head home. There’s always paperwork to fill out and safety checks to do, which can be a bit of a drag, but it's part of the routine here in Uran. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things done.
