Modern Computers

Modern Computers is located in Kandivali East at Swaminaayan Nagar. We are in Room No 1 of the Akbar Ali Chawl in Gao. Being in a chawl means there is always something going on right outside the door. You hear the neighbors talking, the sounds of cooking, and the general bustle of the community. Our room is small and we have to be very careful with how we use the space. We have got some sturdy shelves lining the walls to keep all our gear off the floor. The light comes in through the main door, which we usually leave open to let a bit of a breeze in. It is a humble setup, but it works for what we do. There is a small table in the corner where we keep the records and a few personal items. We know everyone around here, and people often stop by just to see how things are going. The walls are thin, so we try not to be too loud with the equipment. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take that as a sign to grab a snack or a drink from the stall nearby. It is not like those big glass offices you see in the city center, but it has got a lot of character and we like being part of the local scene here. We just take each day as it comes and handle the work.
