Mode Tricots

Mode Tricots is located in Sanjay Building 5, unit B-84, over in the Marol area of Andheri East. It’s a typical industrial building with a lot of different businesses all working under one roof. We focus on knitted fabrics, so the space is mostly filled with big, heavy rolls of cloth. There’s always a bit of lint and dust in the air, which is just part of working with textiles. We spend our days checking the texture of the knits and making sure the orders are ready for the garment factories. The office part of our unit is just a few desks pushed together where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is pretty basic. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. What matters to us is that the fabric is right and it gets delivered on time. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and a couple of us who manage the paperwork. It’s a simple routine, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. Marol is a busy, gritty place, and we fit right in. We just come in, do the work, and head home like everyone else in the estate.
