We started Mkci Mumbaikar Chaha India Privatelimited because we just like making tea for people around here. Our spot is at 336 on the ground floor in Panchsheel Nagar. If you know Saltpan Road in Antop Hill, you've probably seen us around. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular tea shop in Mumbai. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for the early crowd. Most of the people living in the 400037 area stop by when they’re headed to work. It’s a busy part of town but we manage. My cousin helps out with the boiling and the milk deliveries. We don't have a big office or anything, just this small space on the ground floor. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic on Saltpan Road, but that’s just how Antop Hill is. We keep the kettle going most of the day. Some days are busier than others, especially when it rains and everyone wants something hot. We just focus on keeping the place clean and making sure there’s enough tea for everyone who walks in. There’s not much to tell besides that. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the neighbors know us. If you’re passing through Panchsheel Nagar, you can find us right there. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth works fine for us. Just a local business trying to keep things moving. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next day. It's a simple routine.
